Moving Tips

Most important!

  • Be nice to your mover, they are carrying your most precious possessions.
  • Let us know if your driveway is not suitable for trucks. Now is the time to discard unwanted/unused items, don't pay to move it and then discard.
  • The rule of thumb is if it fits in a box then put it in a box and seal it where possible. Not everything can go on top, good packing will enable us to stack and fit everything in. It makes things faster, saving you money well protecting your goods.
  • Clearly label all cartons, numbering each room is easiest and less writing. Write on the tape where possible as we recycle cartons.
  • Make sure we know what is not going. Check carefully once finished to make sure Mums china has not been overlooked.
